"This album has come about after people kept asking me over the years if they could have copies of some of my older material I used to perform with the band."Ian said.
"As a result, I re-recorded some of those songs (the more piano orientated ones) together with a couple of new ones . It started as an experiment with Roses being the first, as I love string orchestrations. It grew from there and in between working on other projects it's finished. (Until I remix them that is !!)"
"Both James Henderson and Keith Peberdy (shown opposite) were in the band and have recorded some great parts on these songs". Ian says. "Many thanks to them. They know I regard them as two of the best players I've met and best friends".
"Also many thanks to Mike Shepherd for his support and playing on one of the tracks together with Jacki Hinds who provided backing vocals. (PS and to Donna who tells me she's on there but I was probably too drunck to remember !!! Thanks anyway Donna !! "
Ian's love of music is closely followed by his passion for art and when he finally gets time he loves to paint.
